Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival
>The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival is a comedy festival held every summer in Kilkenny City. The festival is known worldwide, and it is Ireland's annual craic pilgrimage. It is usually held over the first weekend in June every year however this year it has been postponed due to the global pandemic. Over the years, the festival welcomed Irish acts such as Graham Norton, Des Bishop, and Aisling Bea. Several international acts were also welcomed in previous years. The festival has grown into one of Europe’s top comedy festivals. There is a relaxed feel as performers are not recorded and there are no competitions. Every performer is in the best of form which makes every show even more enjoyable!

Cat Laughs Festival 2019
Last year, the festival celebrated its 25th year in business. Acts such as Jason Byrne, Ed Byrne, and Tommy Tiernan performed. Throughout the weekend, local pubs, bars, and restaurants all got involved. The craic was mighty!
