Hurling Experience

The Hurling Experience is hosted by The Kilkenny Way. The Kilkenny Way provides a unique sporting experience that gives people an insight into the world’s oldest field game in the home of Hurling Champions which is Kilkenny, also known as the famous cats! The tour consists of two hours. During your hurling adventure, you will be shown an introduction video of hurling. The video will teach you skills like Blocking & Hooking, Solo Runs, Lifting, Striking and the Long Puc. You’ll finish up in the Legend’s Hurling Bar, the only museum bar in Ireland. Bowls of hot stew are served as you watch a hurling game to see the skills you learned earlier.
